Hmmm..looks like this is my " Howard" edition post. Nothing by Howard Stern or Howard Rhinegold today...but I'm sure they'll have something out soon. ¶ 7:45 PM

I'm looking forward to your description of Gardner's book. I've been wondering if his multiple-intelligences are merely a list of common coherent groupings of domains people specialize.
His work is a good attack on domain-general intelligence, but with the Evolutionary Psychologists talking about hundreds of thousands of "modules" (even tasked to a specific domain), I wonder if he believes his list of 10 or so is too limited.

Good question. Maybe when i finish, I'll make the effort to get in contact and ask Gardner directly.
