Just ordered a handful of great books from Amazon, including:

Brave New War: The Next Stage of Terrorism and the End of Globalization

Learning to Eat Soup with a Knife: Counterinsurgency Lessons from Malaya and Vietnam

Medici Effect: What Elephants and Epidemics Can Teach Us About Innovation

Linked: How Everything Is Connected to Everything Else and What It Means

I've already read Barabasi but I didn't own a copy; the others I'm looking forward to reading soon.

The Nagl book is very good.

I've ordered the John Robb book too. Can't wait.

Nagl's book was very good. Not what I expected though. More of a comparative study of how and why two different organizations learned when dealing with similar problem sets. Good, structured overview of the British and American Armies reacted to insurgencey.
